I always see people posat questions either about Buffy or Smg because they are writting a paper. I have to come up with a topic ( it could be about anything) and I think it would be cool to do something on Buffy. What topics have any of you written about? Or does anyone have any good ideas for a Thesis Statement or ideas?

I am actually in the process of writing an elaborate paper on why Buffy is the best show on TV. I know it sounds very lame or childish or what not, but it's not going to be. This isn't really for school either, I'm doing it for fun.

I'm a geek like that.

By the way, does anyone have a site with Buffy essays or anything? Or would anyone be willing to share their essay? I love reading essays on the metaphorical meanings, etc. of Buffy.

Yeah. In 9th grade and it won in an essay contest. And Sarah's in my research paper I'm writing now.

Yup.. A few times. My essay on Violence and Sex in the media mentioned Buffy last week, too.

I haven't written of my own, though I'd love to do it... haha make it my university thesis or something... But I HAVE been interviewed for some. I just got one back the other day actually.

We were going to do it in english, and watch buffy eps, but it didnt go though, wish it did.

I've done a couple. When I was 14, i wrote a 1000 word bio of Sarah and last year i did a paper on Season 6. I got really good grades for them too!!

The chance has never really popped up. If I ever have to write an essay it is done in the very last minute and I don't get a choice of what I want to write about. Plus, writting about Buffy in an essay about Greek Mythology doesn't really fit . The subjects that I take at school are not really essay classes (apart from English and Media Studies...I wrote an excellent essay about mooks and midrifs for Media - top marks). When the opportunity pops up, I shall write one on either buffy or Sarah. I'll even spend more than two hours writing it too.

I think I now have an idea for what to do my Final-Year English Research Assignment on. Hehe.
