I think its fine, different and very unique idea...I don't see how the BtVS ones were so much better! Ya whatever, why am I even talking about the covers? I just can't wait to get the DVDs and watch I Will Remember You (cuz the tape that that episode was on got lost!!).

My question is this: why did it take Angel so much less time to come out on DVD than Buffy did? In, the U.S., of course.

I have the Angel DVDs from the UK. The artwork is better.

I have been thinking of getting Angel S1 because I like the episode where Buffy shows up. Do you think it's worth it?

Well I don't know. Thats pretty much the reason I was thinking about getting them. For the 2 Buffy/Sarah episodes, the 2 Faith ones & the Spike/Oz one. Problem is I could careless about the other episodes

The "Cover" looks fine to me, not like superb, but good enough. I don't know what they were trying with the disks though...

I don't like the discs..but I wouldn't spend money on Angel, it's just to dark and..BLAH for me.

Sorry for the late post, just got back, I think the cover looks excellent but the disc... wtf? They could have done better with them, though none of it really matters it's getting my money either way.

The cover looks cool. Would have been nice if they had put cast member photos and stuff on the discs, like they do with Buffy.

My guess as to why thier releasing Angel faster, is one, Europe already has two Seasons. It isn't fair to release it over seas, and not here in the states. Two, the story continues after Season 3 of BtVS. It makes sense.

I happen to like the discs. I like that they're different from everything else. Who says we need to have pictures of the cast on every disk or have complicated art? It's simplistic and artistic. I quite like them.

I only saw half of season one of angel, I didnt think it was as good as season two or three.....But there is nothing wrong with the disc covers though

I'm actually glad they didn't put character pictures on the covers, nice for a change, but they made the discs look odd... Looks like they had a nice "idea" but it came out wrong.
