I didn't even know he was a father! blink.gif I thought he had his sister's kid at one time, though.

Like... helped conceive his sister's kid? blink.gif

No, he had custody of her or something like that. Around the time of Season 6-7 on Buffy.

Since JM talks about his kids (though giving very little info and refusing to allow them to be photographed) I guess it's not an invasion of his privacy to post he has custody of his niece who is around 8 (and we don't know the details of that) and he has a son who is around 9.

Yeah, he mentioned his kids to Kristen in his interview about Smallville, which is what prompted my question.

Wow. I didn't know he had kids either but that's nice. smile.gif His son is very lucky to have him as a father, and his niece is very lucky to have such a positive role model in her life. Talk about the coolest dad in the world. cool.gif

how can you tell??maybe james isnt a great father at all, only because his appearances on tv are great...and having custody over your niece doesnt have to be a great thing imo...

Maybe we shouldn't talk about his private life. Speculating on what kind of a father he is, when you have no information to base that speculation on, is rude and can get pretty unfair and nasty.
