now that's hard because there are just so many. hmmm...her scarfice in The Gift, and the touching words to Dawnie in the end.

Ok I have a few that standout.


"I'm Buffy, the vampire slayer, and you are"

(not to mention the kickass fight!)


"You have fruit punch mouth" (also "I may be dead, but I'm still pretty)


"Are you ready to be strong?"


Yes and Amends was indeed a good moment, seems she was happy peaceful even for a few scant moments.

When Spike ends up in her arms in Season 7. It was such a brilliant inversion because it summed up their relationship perfectly. Aside from that, it was simply a very touching moment.

"Best" is a relative term. There's already a thread for most romantic moments so I'll add here the great moments that make me cry.

For that, Buffy putting the sowrd through Angel in Becoming 2, and from the same episode, Buffy watching her friends from afar just before she gets on the bus out of town.

From the Prom - the Class protector award as was already mentioned, the final dance, Buffy crying in Willow's arms.

From Anne - Buffy's dream of Angel, and sitting there with her can opener looking so lost.

The whole episode - The Body.

Oh, man, there are too many to count.

The touched scene, the basement scene in Bring on the Night, the Showtime Thunderdome fight scene and rescue scene, um.....Buffy's "I don't want to die" speech in S1.

There are more, I've just forgotten them.

The Prom - pretty much the entire episode, but mostly the Class Protector thing. And mostly Giles look of fatherly pride beaming down on his slayer. OH GOD. I'm tearing up just thinking about it (it was on FX earlier today and i watched ... err tried to. It was hard to see through all those tears)

Definitely the speech giving the Watcher's Council their come uppance in 'Checkpoint'. However the Class Protector and Angel reunion scenes in 'The Prom' come close, plus the final scene of 'The Gift.

Where do I begin?

1 - Touched - Spike's speech to Buffy & his holding her while she slept.
2 - End of Days - Prying the scythe from solid rock in front of Caleb.
3 - End of Days - Rescuing the wounded Faith and Potentials from the Ubervamp.
4 - End of Days - Spike's speech to Buffy in the Summer's house - "it was the best night of my life. So yeah, I’m terrified.
5 - Chosen - Slicing & dicing Caleb - Asbolutely Priceless!
6 - Chosen - Buffy's conversation with Angel about "Cookie Dough" - I'll never look at cookies the same!
7 - Chosen - Returning to the Summer's house and telling everyone "the scythe makes julienne preacher".
8 - Buffy's smile at the end of the epsiode. Kind of says it all.

There were so many favorite Buffy minutes so I'll stop here. Naturally it goes without saying - Season 7 was my favorite.

one scene has probably made me smile more than any other in tv history - when the magic box opens and Giles is stood there in his wizard costume. Nothing is said - just perfection.
I always put it on after a bad day at work... it has the desired effect

I was first blown away (truly on an emotional level) by "Prophesy Girl"...."I'm sixteen years old. I don't wanna die." *SOB*

But there are so many great moments...

Passion...the drinking scene....Amends....The Body....The Gift....

I love so much about Buffy that to make a list would be to leave off too much.

I was watching my new S1 DVDs last night

I'm gonna add when Buffy says "there's something you forgot about too. *throws something into wall and busts it* daylight.
*Luke cowers and screams then Buffy stakes him*

God how I love Buffy.

Mine is "The Prom" when Buffy gets the award too, lol I cried.

And, during S3 (I forgot the name of the episode) where Buffy and Xander thinks Willow is a vampire, and then they find out she's not and they hug her, and Giles does too and it seems really creepy. Haha, I keep wanting to say Dopplegangland or whatever but not sure..

Yeah, it is Doppelgangland.



I love the "Who died? *pause, sees their faces* OHmygod, who died?" as Willow enters. Priceless!

My fav funny part is in "Doppelgander(sp?)" when Willow pretends to be evil.
and my Fav serious moment is in the episode where Spike tells Buffy that the only person he has ever been sure of is her. In the final few episodes.

Ohh, and the whole of The Body, that was amazingly acted by the whole cast it was heartbreaking, especially when Anya didn't understand

for me its the graduation day battle and the whole build up to it! Tense & exciting! also, the end of an era...

SO hard to choose!

In "The Gift" Glory breaks the Buffybot and says "Did everyone know the Slayer was a robot?" Then Buffy is standing behind with the hammer and says "Glory, you're not the brightest god in the heaven's are you?" and wallops her with the hammer. Oh yeah, classic.

The last scene of "The Gift", so sad.

The opening scene of Bargaining. Just thought it was very cool.

Graduation Day Part 2, the scene where Buffy tricks the mayor into following her into the library.

Buffy killing Angel in Becoming 2, and Buffy watching her friends just before she gets on the bus out of town. So sad.

God I have so many more after this, too many to name them all!

As good as what everybody else has said, for me there is one scene that just absolutly chokes me up everytime I see it. At the end of "The Bargaining" when Dawn is trying to talk Buffy off Glory's old falling appart tower. It's like Buffy wants to jump off again, and Dawn begs her not to. That just gets to me each and every time. I'm sure it always will.

#1 Favorite moment is when Buffy Class Protector in The Prom!!

#2 Buffy & Spike under Willow's spell in Somethng Blue & When Buffy tells Spike she Loves him Chosen & his Spike Speech to Buffy in Touched!!

#3 Buffy throws the neddle & poison at Giles & tells him she doesn't know him any more in Helpless!!

#4 Buffy punches Cameron in the face for trying to hit on her & saves Gage from Angel in & then askes her to walk him home Go Fish!!

#5 Buffy & Angel sword fight then sends Angel to hell in Becoming 2 & Buffy defeats the master in Propchey Girl!!

I love all of these moments, however one slightly stands out to me & that is the episode Angel.

The moment they kissed & Angel vamped I suddenly realised how awesome this show was truly going to be & that was a realisation I am SO glad I didn't miss!

Xander: That was excellent.

Buffy looking into fire.
Buffy: I touch the fire and it freezes me, I look into it and it's black. Why can't I feel? My skin should crack and peel, I want the fire back.

Tara's introduction! I loved the character!

Buffy telling Wesley to tell the council she no longer works for them in Graduation Day.

Faith being stabbed in the gut in season 3, sorry I know that's not going to be popular, but I was so sick of all the crap she pulled in that season.

Spike telling off the gang after they kicked Buffy out of her house, and the smackdown he gave to Faith.

My all time favourite moments of Buffy are all of the touching ones with her and Spike. His love for her was so empowering and missunderstood by many. But i have one favouriite...Season 4, Something Blue...When Anya and Xander walk in and Spike and Buffy tell them that they're engaged and kiss!!! Xander's expression is priceless!!!

Mine is the last episode of Buffy ever...When she told Spike that she loved him..Even though she might not have meant it!!! Their expression were priceless and i cry everytime!!!
