A hell of a lot going on at the end of that one. The fights cool. Well maybe Connor will have Cordys baby after all.

Did Angel see them together or was he looking at the fire storm? Well, I am beyond happy that there is trouble in paradise for A/C (I am so NOT loving that ship), but with Connor, damn, that's just got to suck. Oh boy! oh boy!

I think this episode is pretty good. The fire thing in the sky kinda looked like a volcano. This demon looks like a bad one!

Kinda weak at the start but picked up at the end. I kept hoping to here "from beneath you it devours" that would have been so cool but no luck. darn.

The Cordy/Conner thing was kinda weak there at the end. But I guess we know why they did it though.
Can't believe we have to wait till after the new year.

Oh I am beyond disturbed. All I kept thinking was, eww yur are kissing Angel's SON. his son!!!
And it's not like she loves him or anything! I am deeply disturped and do NOT like this story-line at all.
No matter how much I was against angel/cordy...it is a MILLION times better then cordy/conner.

whatever. great cliff hanger. can't wait to see how it turns out.

I overall really liked the episode...

Barf, yuck, gross, ew, gag, blech. Did I use enough icky words to describe how I feel about Connor/Cordy? The whole time they were all "snuggly" I was going, "Aw, ew, yuck! That's so-- It's almost like incest! Well, not that Cordy gave birth to Connor, but almost! Ew!" And then I said, "She's THIRTY-TWO! He's like... 21! YUCK." I could've said that he was like 5 years old, but I felt like being more realistic. GAH. Icky. Other than that, the episode was pretty damn cool. Lilah-as-Fred. Mwah.

In the series.. Cordy is supposed to be around Buffy's age.. which is around 21. Conner, I believe is supposed to be around 17/18.

Age should never be a issue, but cordy doesn't care for conner that way, that's what was wrong. not that conners going to argue the point.

Agree it definitely picked up by the end. thought I noticed an off hand reference to "beneath you it devours". Don't remember the exact phrasing & don't tape Angel so can't check but when Cordy was talking with either Angel or Connor, she mentioned something about it coming from beneath & talked about destruction. When I heard that I said out loud "From beneath you it devours" LOL

I thought of that too.. but then I remember that we fans musn't forget that L.A. is totally and completely seperate from the Buffyverse. Lets also not forget that apparently.. L.A. is also it's own little world.

LOL, im sorry but the end just cracked me up!!!!ewwww, It was so dirty.
I thought Angel being stabbed in the throat was pretty awesome. He never gets really hurt so it was suprising. I like that wesley is slowly becoming part of the gang again. It was a pretty decent episode. well i liked it at least.

So I guess just LA is going to hell what about Sunnydale or the rest of the world. I mean it sounds like a lead story on the national news LA ungulfed in a reign of fire is this the apocalypse?

I am sorry but while some things were interesting in this episode (dead sparrows, the apocalypse in theory, Lilah as Fred...) overall it wasn't a particularly good episode. 5.5

I think they're already shooting around Charisma's "situation". In fact I think they have been all season.

fantastic episode tonight, the whole cordy and connor thing, well, since she's pregnent, they had to do it, awesome work with special effects (most at least, some bits were kinda choppy) but all in all, it was good, i give it a 8/10

That whole fight bit with Angel and the gang was just flat out awesome!

9/10 Cordy & Connor is why it lost that 1 point.

I had to work and my VCR was set to record but it kept messing up, cutting in and out.... I missed most of the episode!!It taped the first twenty minutes or so, up to the point to where Cordelia is telling Angel about the demon, then it goes to a commercial break, when it returns she's in bed with Conner and Angel around her... then the tape cuts out and returns with Angel swinging a sword at the demon thing.... I missed so damn much!! From what I seen it was amazing!!!! I can't rate it due to the fact I haven't seen it all but from what I seen it's one of (if not the ) best Angel episode ever....The fight scenes at the end were amazing!!

I'm not thrilled about the whole Cordelia/Conner thing... I think Charisma being pregnant is going to mess the show a bit, hopefully not.....

Please say someone here recorded it and would be kind enough to mail it to me!! I really want to see the whole episode, also does anyone know where I can find the script?

i was alittle confused at the end with angel staring at something was he staring at conor and cordelia?

well they had to do make her sleep wth somebady..but geez it could of at least been well not the son of somebody who loves you!

Was just reading Herc's review of this ep at AICN and this part had me LMAO:

"And everybody knows if there’s ever a cure to Angel’s “happiness” problem, there’s going to be an Angel-size hole in the side of the Hyperion where Angel started his journey back to Sunnydale."

Lilah as Fred was beyond interesting - I thought it was frickin hilarious. Especially when Wesley told her not to take off the glasses.
The whole Cordy-Conner thing does seem a little Mrs. Robinsonish, even though I know their ages arent supposed to be that far apart.

Am I the only one that thinks that they could have and should have(since the Cordy/Conner relationship is disturbing)kept her pregnancy out of the script. She's not the first actress to get pregnant. I don't like this at alll! The world as I know it can END now!

Well we dont want angel to experience that moment of perfect happiness but I dont think anyone wants him to suffer like is now! He almost looked psycho. Kind of like if this thing with Cordy and Connor finally pushed him over the edge.

Damn that episode was dramatic! And I love jealousy so Conner and Cordy getting it on was already in my head as "I hope so" but actually seeing it come to life was: EWW and maybe GROSS!! I couldnt even watch most of it! Cordelia looked so out of it, like not at all enjoying it. And Connor just looks so much younger than Cordelia that it looked so awkward.


And sure Angel was 240 something when he and Buffy consumated their relationship but their age in real life was closer to Charisma's and Vincent was it not? So just visually forgetting what is being told to you by the story their love scene was easier to digest.

Connor and Cordy. Disturbing is not even a strong enough word for what I saw last night. I almost got sick all over myself. Poor Angel. I can't believe she slept with Angel's son after she just got done telling him that she loves him. And she is going to sleep with him just cause it might be the end of the world. Come on, I mean she might as well be his step-mother. She probably would have been if Connor was never sucked into that hell demension.

I don't necessarilly agree with your reaction but it did make me bust out laughing---it's so Funny. Additionally Lilah as Fred with Wesley was a great bit. Hey y'all I continue to not know stuff: what does your frequently used "LOL" mean? "LOTS OF LUCK"? "LITTLE OLD LADY"? Hoo Boy! Anyway Angel was born to suffer---I personally still am rooting for good old (or bad old) Spike.

I just saw the last minute of it and I'm thankful for that. Cordy/Connor made me SICK.

Not so moved by this ep....I was very disappointed with the demon after all the hyping up they've been giving it. Maybe it will be further explained later on, but a satanish looking demon fighting with the boys like that just looked stupid. It looked like the stole him right out Legend (that old Tom Cruise flick), except this guy wasn't as cool.

I did like Wesley and the guns, that was cool.

Cordy/Conner? Not so grossed out by it, but it was completely uncharacteristic of Cordy. She's going to sleep with him because of all he's been through? Whatever. Now she's going to end up pregnant with his child and Angel saw them so he probably will hate her. Which is fine with me.

My humble opinion gives this ep 4/10

C/c really didn't bother me at all since big C bears no resemblence to the C I knew, and I don't know little c at all. I thought that Lorne was amusing and the stuggle between Gunn & Fred is very touching, 4/10 seems about right.

I think that they are talking about how Charisma Carpenter is pregnant. So maybe they will work it into the show. I personally dont know any future spoilers anymore, so who knows if they actually do bring her pregnancy into the show by using connor.

Now, back to this ep: I am loving how Wesley is developing---he was awesome in the battle --- move over Dirty Harry---no wonder Allyson likes him. The original Wesley was mostly comic relief but now he really is the "rogue demon hunter". Wesley's acting range is impressive.

AHH HAA! Did I actually figure out 1 of these things--- Since LOL means laugh out loud---LMAO could mean laugh my (censored) off. Did I guess that right? OK if Cordy ends up having Connor's baby won't Angel love that baby too?
