Queen Of Slayers, Question *spoilers if you havent read it!* Options

Ive just finished reading it (its really good!) but could someone please explain the ending to me!

The whole bit with her angel and spike, and when she touches her stomach and says ill see you soon, i think i know what it means but just incase im wrong could someone please explain lol thankyou!

hey, im not EXACTLY sure, but i had that same question after i finished reading it and some people helped me out.

i think that...

spike and angel both died. and they were her loves, etc. so when she had the battle, she had them, in the form of a daughter (which she will give berth to) watching over her. so when, at the end, dawn rushes over saying that they saw the thing kill buffy, but shes not dead. its because buffy was killed, but the little girl saved her.. its confusing. but yeah, basically, the little girl is going to be born, and she is going to be VERY good, so that the balance between good and evil is restored again, because after angel and spike died, it was thrown of balance and stuff..

im not really sure, but thats my interpretation of it. i also have another where:

buffy did die, and shes in heaven, and so everythings good. <-- but this interpretation is pretty unlikely. haha.

from what i gather its buffy angel and spikes ( ) something about there goodness all joined together to form this baby but i could be wrong lol

Haven't read that book in a while but i have been meaning to go back and read it again. It is a really good book imo and one worthy of being read again. I think that Nancy Holder did a really good job with the writing as far as knowing the voice of the characters and such. I also heard that this book was approved by Joss himself as basically a season 8. Of course, now that we have the comics coming out I guess that will be changing. Still though, it's a good book, and I like that Willow and Kennedy break up. I am currently reading an old Buffy book 'Return to Chaos' which I have about 10 pages left to read. Once I get done with that I just might go back and re-read 'Queen of the Slayers.'
